Who is Rachel Carlsen

Rachel Carlsen is a social entrepreneur, corporate executive, and certified public accountant. Throughout her extensive career in finance, business management and public accounting, she has founded, led, and served organizations that deliver meaningful social impact.

As the President and Founder of Create Impact, a California formed tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, she has a vision to give back by promoting social awareness and giving entrepreneurs the ability to learn from each other and to be in-service as Social Impact Partners with Create Impact. Socially conscious entrepreneurs have the opportunity to not only give back but to also educate fellow entrepreneurs on their mission statement and vision that led to their entrepreneurial path.

Acting as Treasurer for International Arts & Philanthropy Foundation (IAPF) from June 2020 until June 2023; IAPF is a nonprofit organization that through collaborative partnerships is creating groundbreaking change throughout the world. As President and Founder of Create Impact, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose partners share a belief in the power of collaboration to create change, Create Impact is also working to globally combat social injustice. In addition, she is also the founder of Always in the Club Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization made up of former mouseketeers with a desire to create change.

Through these innovative collaborations and partnerships, she hopes to make a difference while making the world a better place.

From 2015 to 2023, she also served as  the President and Founder of Carlsen Financial, formerly a California Public Accounting Firm located in Sherman Oaks, California. This organization created an accessible, virtual, financial network designed around her vision to create the "Firm of the Future". While providing financial planning services, insurance services, CFO services, bookkeeping and tax preparation, she opened the doors to socially conscious entrepreneurs and business owners like never before; providing access to a full suite of financial services in one place, facilitated and led by a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in insurance and securities, and able to assist with a financial plan. This network of the future not only provided a high-tech solution to fast-paced entrepreneurs, but also provided the strategic road-map to individuals and businesses who needed assistance with the administrative structure of their organizations.

In her career, she has also served as a Principal and Founder at Carlsen Partners LLP, a Leader and Visionary in Business Consulting and Tax Strategy in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from University of Nevada Las Vegas, she  has been featured as a guest speaker on social entrepreneurism and diversity amongst her professional network; she prides herself on being a mentor to young people and future business leaders.

In May of 2023, she was honored to receive an Outstanding Achievement Award from The Los Angeles Tribune, for her Outstanding Excellence in Leadership.
